The Pensacola Beach Air Show is traditionally held the Saturday following the 4^th of July Holiday.  The air show is the highlight of Beach Week and the crowd begins to gather in the very early morning hours to see the Blue Angels, the hometown favorites.  Pensacola is “Blue Angels Country” and the show is a mini-homecoming of sorts for the team after being on the road for the first half of the season.  Beach Week starts on Wednesday with “Breakfast With the Blues.”  The team executes their circle and arrival maneuvers that morning while you enjoy breakfast on the beach.  The team also practices over the Beach on Thursday afternoon.  A full dress rehearsal of the air show with all of the participants is held on Friday.  A note of interest - this is also the time when the Blues will select the members of next year's squadron.
